Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix
1 egg, well-beaten
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
Preparation:
Add butter and egg to cake batter.
Mix well with a
spoon and press with fork
2/3 of batter into a greased 13" x 9" pyrex dish.
Add Ingredients:
2 eggs, well-beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ginger
dash salt
1-29 oz. can pumpkin
2/3 cup carnation milk
1 cup pecans
whipping cream or Cool Whip
Preparation Steps:
Mix above dry ingredients.
Mix liquid ingredients.
Put together and pour on unbaked crust.
Sprinkle pecans on top, then crumble rest of cake mix on top.
Pour melted butter all over the top.
Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until done. (when knife is clean when inserted)
After cool, spread with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
Keep refrigerated.
Make the night before to allow flavors to blend nicely
