¼ c. margarine                                                    

½ c. light brown sugar

1 lb. raisins

2 eggs

½ c. bourbon

1 ½ c. flour

1 lb. pecans

1 ½ tsp. soda

½ lb. candied pineapple

1 ½ tsp cinnamon

1 lb. candied cherries

½ t. nutmeg

½ t. cloves

 

Preparation Steps:

  1. Soak raisins in bourbon 1 hr.

  2. Cream margarine.

  3. Gradually beat in sugar.

  4. Add eggs one at a time beating after each.

  5. Sift flour, spices and soda.

  6. Blend to creamed mixture.

  7. Add raisins to mixture along with nuts and fruit.

  8. Drop onto greased cookie sheets.

  9. Bake at 325 for 10-15 minutes.  Watch closely since they can burn easily.

 

Store in air tight container.  Can be frozen.

Makes 120 very small cookies.
