City by the Sea in the Costa del Sol area.

This is where 'El Cid' was filmed in 1961. The movie starred Charlton Heston

and Sophia Loren and is a story about driving the Moors from Spain during

the 11th century.  Perhaps we should see the movie.

The area was beautiful but we didn't remove our shoes and walk on the

Mediterranean.

We climbed to the castle while other tourists shopped. Scroll down and you

will see the view.

There were senior citizens doing water aerobics.  We didn't participate. 

They moved out before we could join them.

This was awesome.  Yes, We tipped the guy to take photos.

There was a lot of activity - cars and delivery trucks going to all of the

restaurants.  Preparing for their most important festival which was beginning

tonight (9/7), in honor of the town's patron saint the Virgen de la Emitana.

We sat outside to eat our ice cream and watch the activity.

No shopping for us; it is time to head back to the bus.

All the single ladies enjoyed the company of our driver Antonio. 

He is Portuguese and a great driver.
